A Luz é Grande is an animated short film based on the children’s book by Ana Pessoa and Joana Estrela, created for a pre-school audience. Using the 2D cut-out and animation technique, the adaptation maintains the visual and narrative essence of the original work, celebrating the discovery of language and children’s imagination. The project aims to broaden access to this story, valuing audiovisual creation and bringing children closer to cinema from an early age.
