The Cannes Quinzaine lineup is out and as beautiful as ever with a genre-rich selection with a mix of established and emerging filmmakers.
Among the 24 titles in the main selection we'll see some big names such as Takashi Miike, Johnny Ma, Robert Eggers, Bas Devos, Babak Anvari, Bertrand Bonello, Benoït Forgeard (director of How to Succeed in Life and France is a Gas) and previously announced Quentin Dupieux (director of Wrong, Wrong Cops and Reality).
Robert Rodriguez (!!) and Luca Guadagnino will have special screenings of their new films, while John Carpenter will be honored with The Carrosse d'Or. As part of that celebration, a screening of The Thing (1982) will be held followed by a conversation moderated by Yann Gonzalez.
On the Short Films front, we'll see new works by Gabriel Abrantes (co-director of Diamantino) and Sergio Caballero (director of Finisterrae and La Distancia).
We can't wait to watch them all, can you? If the wait is too long, check out our special Waiting for the Quinzaine section!
