Denis Côté's latest feature Social Hygiene is now streaming on Spamflix. Set in a 18th-century rural backdrop, this deadpan comedy-drama seems like a child of current times although it was conceived well before the global pandemic. Comprised of a series of long shots, Antonin has a way with words and tries to escape from a multitude of situations he's got into himself.

Premiered at Berlinale, where Côté won Best Director in the Encounters competition.
