The 4 Film Veit Helmer Retrospective continues on Spamflix with the allegorical comedy Absurdistan.
In this small nothing village in the middle of nowhere, a dry place where 14 families somehow manage to call home, the young Temelko and Aya have reached the age where their friendship turns into love. But the stars give 2 conditions for their “first time”: they still have to wait four years and both must bathe beforehand. Meanwhile, angered by male indifference toward the water shortage, women on the village go on a sex strike that threatens the young couple's first night of love.
