Kelly Reichardt receives Locarno Film Festival's Pardo d’onore Manor

Director Kelly Reichardt receives the Locarno Film Festival Pardo d’onore Manor tomorrow, following other outstanding personalities of cinema that include Manoel de Oliveira, Bernardo Bertolucci, Agnès Varda, Werner Herzog, Ken Loach, Jean-Luc Godard, Alejandro Jodorowsky, Terry Gilliam and many more.

Starring Lisa Donaldson and Larry Fessenden, this "road movie without the road, a love story without the love, and a crime story without the crime", as the director puts it, tells the story of Cozy, a dissatisfied housewife, who meets Lee at a bar. A drink turns into a home break-in, and a gun shot sends them on the run together, thinking they've committed murder.
