Knock-knock! Who’s there? The Grim Reaper. The Grim Reaper, who? The Grim Reaper, famed creeper and soul-scything keeper, that’s who! We’ll be kicking things off with a killer cocktail in his charming company. A piece of advice? Go easy on the hard stuff because you’ve got a long boat ride ahead on the River Styx. If, despite the tour operator’s best intentions, your trip to happily never after ends up being a real bummer and satisfaction stagnates at an all-time low, your hostess will be thrilled to whisk you away on a little jaunt to the countryside to be lukewarmly greeted by a storyheller. There, you may just find eternal unrest.

Still not satisfied? Your guide’s got just the trick. Nothing like a spry, little warm-up to whip you into shape for these feisty prelims perfect for scrutinizing the substrata of your death drive in overdrive be it for the next-door douchebag, the rabid fleabag, the air(head)bag or folks who rhyme all the time! All joking aside, this cinematic and highly-graphic trip is bound to leave you anything but stone cold.

A storm brews over Victorian Dublin as post-mortem photographer, Mr.Huxley, returns to his hallowed practice within the gloomy townhouse in which he resides. His latest subject is a recently-deceased young woman, whose presence conjures the demons of Huxley's character - compelling him to confront the narcissistic life he has chosen to lead.

Une tempête se prépare dans le Dublin victorien alors que le photographe post-mortem, M. Huxley, retourne à son cabinet sacré dans la lugubre maison de ville où il réside. Son dernier sujet est une jeune femme récemment décédée, dont la présence évoque les démons du personnage de Huxley - l'obligeant à affronter la vie narcissique qu'il a choisi de mener.

Un homme plus âgé fait monter un jeune homme dans sa voiture. Alors qu'ils roulent, puis s'installent dans une maison de location austère à la campagne, les détails de leur arrangement deviennent évidents.

Un joli faire-valoir pour l'humanité, qui explore le libre arbitre et l'«espace-temps», créant une ambiguïté autour du concept d'individualisme en montrant tous les cataclysmes et les éliminations de l'humanité sur une ligne de temps linéaire - inspirée en partie par la Tapisserie de Bayeux.
